Cape Fox Lodge is seeking an experienced Bartender to join the Heen Kahidi restaurant team. The Bartender is responsible for mixing, garnishing, and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for guests at the bar and in the restaurant. Enthusiasm and excellent customer service skills are important to this role so as to create an enjoyable drinking experience for guests. The Bartender is responsible for experimenting with drink specials including creating the classics and other innovative drinks.
Duties Include:
- Prepare alcohol and non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders, and serve
- Answer any questions or suggest items on the menu based on the customer’s preferences
- Upsell and highlight the restaurant’s food and beverages
- Take payment
- Communicate orders with the kitchen staff
- Prepare and organize ingredients for mixing drinks
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations

- Prior experience working as a bartender or restaurant is preferred
- Customer oriented, friendly, and energetic
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Food Handlers Certification
- TAPS Certification
- Must be legally able to serve alcohol
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
