Job Overview:

We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and experienced nannies to join our growing network! As a nanny with Cape & Islands Nanny Network, you’ll have the flexibility to choose your schedule, work with families that align with your skills, and be part of a supportive community that values and uplifts childcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, engaging, and attentive care for children in private homes or event settings.
• Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and development.
• Assist with meal prep, feeding, and light household tasks related to childcare.
• Follow parental guidelines and household routines to maintain consistency in care.
• Communicate openly and professionally with families and Cape & Islands Nannies staff.
• Ensure children’s physical, emotional, and social well-being at all times.
• Provide mobile childcare services at family-friendly events (if applicable).

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional childcare experience (nannying, babysitting, daycare, teaching, etc.) with references
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, responsible, and genuinely passionate about working with children

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience caring for infants, toddlers, and young children
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) background

- Willingness to learn and grow
- Babysitting or childcare certifications
- Comfortable caring for multiple children, infants, or children with special needs
