Surgical Technician: Per Diem
Cape Regional Health System is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving residents and visitors throughout Cape May County. Cape Regional Physicians Associates with over 60 primary care providers and specialists, delivering services in multiple locations throughout Cape May County.
Duties include:
- Must be able to scrub in all specialty areas
- Assist Surgeons and GI Physicians during procedures
- Responsible for maintaining sterile technique throughout procedures
- Responsible for care and tracking of sterile instruments and supplies in OR and GI suites; clean-up room following procedure
- Must be able to work quickly and accurately under time constraints
- Must be a team player with good communication skills
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods.
Required:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of program for Surgical Technology
- 1 year experience in Operating Room preferred
- Certification for Surgical Technician
- BLS and Call is required
