Department: Pridwin Spa
Position: Spa Massage Therapist
Reports To: Spa Manager / Hotel General Manager
Pay Rate: 45% of service plus gratuity
Position Overview: Guest focused Massage therapist.
These duties may be described as, but not limited to:
- Have full knowledge of spa booking and charging system. Will be able to work through any technical issue occurring at spa front desk.
- Delivers a variety pf spa services in a safe and comfortable manner.
- Maintaining equipment and sample inventory of products.
- Acknowledge and respond to hotel guest needs.
- Greet visitors to Spa answering all questions and concerns or follow through with proper manager.
- Respond to all e-mail inquiries as needed.
- Assist director in communications with spa groups to set up spa services.
- Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of Spa.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must possess good computational ability.
- Must possess good typing skills.
- Must have exceptional organizational skills.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks and projects daily.
- Must be able to sit at a desk for up to 8 hours per day. Walking and standing are occasionally required. Length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task.
- Must have a NY State License to perform
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a spa therapist
- Hands on experience in massage and face/body therapies.
- Positive attitude as part of the Pridwin Hotel team.
- All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per standards.
