GMA Accessories Inc. dba Capelli New York, and other divisions of Sondra Roberts, and Ballet Group, is a major U.S. manufacturer and distributor of apparel, footwear, novelty and gift products, jewelry, hosiery, fashion accessories, handbags, PPE, fitness gear and sports/athletic apparel for women, men, and kids; with our new Licensing divisions, Ellen Tracy and Caribbean Joe most recently added to our portfolio. We were established in 1990 and have approximately 600 employees in the U.S.A. and 2,500 employees worldwide. We have offices, showrooms and distributions centers worldwide, including the U.S.A., UK, China, Hong Kong, Germany, and Bangladesh.

Who we are looking for:

We are currently seeking a Senior Sales Executive to work in our all divisions in Fashion Accessories, Hosiery and Apparel at our New York City Office. In this role, you will be responsible for the effective and successful management of branded and off-price business within the company; working closely with sales team to achieve established sales and financial performance goals resulting in the growth and development of a profitable business. The ideal candidate is someone who must have strong relationship in this type of industry; great communication skills and willingness to work in a team environment. Industry Background, Customer Relationships, product knowledge and strong connection in this type of industry is a MUST

 

Responsibilities:

·        Build a strong relationship with current accounts whilst maintaining the brands.

·        Must have a strong communication and relationship building strength with customers in the retail apparel market.

·        Work closely with all aspects of sales and marketing within your defined account base for your division(s).

·        Must have industry and product knowledge, and be able to maintain internal relationships with teams within planning, design, development, allocations and marketing.

·        Will be required to Partnering closely with CEO of the company, and the EVP to develop sales budgets by accounts.

·        Manage and create a seasonal/annual business plan (by account) which must be detailed showing growth, category, distribution and any promotional objectives and plans.

·        Must be able to represent our company, our brand when attending all trade shows, and customers meetings; servicing the accounts, its sales and distributions.

·        To gather and generate, weekly reports reflecting current sales, projected sales and sell-thru sales.

·        Stay abreast of current market, new and or changes in trends, and be able to forecast any changes in the landscape of the retail market, whilst be able to propose new strategies.

 

 

Skills and Requirements

·        Bachelor’s degree required

·        5 years of sales management experience

·        Strong written and oral communication skills and able to work as a part of team

·        Ability to prioritize, multi task, and work effectively in a fast paced environment in order to meet deadlines

·        Must be detail-oriented, extremely organized, self-motivated and able to work well under pressure

·        Encompass a positive attitude, work ethic and exceptional follow up skills

·        Must have the ability to be punctual, prepared and professional

·        Excellent computer skills especially Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
