Do you have an eye for color and an artistic sensibility? Our client’s Interior Craftsmanship Studio is seeking a new team member to support evaluations of color, gloss, texture and appearance harmonization across the complete array of components found throughout the vehicle interior. Apply your keen eye and aesthetic judgment to help ensure flawless execution of innovative new colors and textures in our client's next generation vehicles.
Your role
- Participate in review and approval of pre-texture, mapping, post-texture, color and gloss for interior and exterior components for local vehicular programs
- Participate in harmonization reviews on complete vehicles for local programs
- Support the continuous maintenance of components (i.e. supplier relocation, molding/tools maintenance, change of raw materials, new color implementation)
- Follow up the maintenance and calibration for all the equipment in the Laboratory
Your skills and experience
- Associate’s degree in a relevant field (visual arts, design, fashion, textiles, etc) or equivalent industry experience
- Exposure to a professional working environment as an intern or apprentice
- Working knowledge of paints, color, gloss and/or texture
- Self-starter, able to work well as in a team, able to follow directions
- Effective, clear and succinct written and verbal communications
- Proficient with Microsoft office or similar software
- Note: In order to be selected for this role, a candidate would need to pass an HVC (Hue, Value, Chroma) color vision test, which will be administered by a certified tester at our client
