- Review and approve pre-texture, mapping, post-texture, color and gloss for interiors and exteriors of components for local vehicular programs.
- Perform harmonization reviews on complete vehicles for local programs
- Craftsmanship Specialist is responsible to review pre-texture, mapping, post-texture, color and gloss for interiors and exteriors of components
- Responsible for the continuous maintenance of the current components (i.e. supplier relocation, molding/tools maintenance, change of raw materials, new color implementation). The continuous maintenance may involve the evaluation of a minimum of 100 additional components to the current programs.
- Responsible to follow up the maintenance and calibration for all the equipment in the Laboratory
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in design or equivalent experience
- Minimum 10 years professional experience, including minimum 3 years in Automotive industry design/craftsmanship role
- Experience in paints, color, gloss and texture evaluations.
- Demonstrated relationship building skills with ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to articulate, communicate and implement a strategy/vision.
- Ability to write technical specifications.
- Self-starter, able to work independently as well as in a team, able to follow directions and to make job related decisions.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing)
- Experience with relevant Industry standards (ASTM, ISO, SAE) is a plus.
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $30.97/hour - $48.40/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
