Requirements :
In addition to having a successful track record within a Procurement practice of an established management consulting firm, the ideal candidate will possess :
- Broad understanding of the current industry dynamics and trends within Procurement specifically and Supply Chain more broadly
- Experience within the following capability areas :
- Procurement Strategy
- Procurement Org and Operating Model
- Strategic Sourcing and Category Management
- Process Improvement
- Spend Analysis
- Package Selection
- Broader experience in other Supply Chain disciplines such as : Supply Chain Planning, Logistics and Distribution, Manufacturing, Analytics
- Strong executive presence with good relationship-building and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrable experience of mentoring and coaching individuals to high performance
Required Skills : - Behavioral Skills : - Excellent analytical and problem solving skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to articulate and present different points of view to different audiences - Ability to work with both the business users and IT project team members - Successful teamwork experience and demonstrated leadership abilities - Time management skills are a must, along with the ability to be flexible Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.
