- Bring your System expertise on EXFO troubleshooting solutions (CP/UP Probes, Reveal and Platform).
- Collaborate with Customer Support teams and Deployment teams in your products and area of expertise.
- Carry out investigations for incident resolution of complex System issues and escalate to the Dev team when necessary.
- Participate to system and/or telecom validation of new releases.
- Bring your expertise to the technical sales teams, Customer Solution Managers, PM considering technical developments and conformities.
What we're looking for:
- Kubernetes & Docker
- Mobile Operator network 4G / 5G architecture
- Knowledge of all the main signaling procedures, protocols, algorithms on a specific part of the network (radio, access, core, applications)
- Gitlab Fundamentals
- Hardware & OS configuration: Linux (Redhat, CentOS) and Windows (Server 2012 and 2016)
- Virtualization: VMWare, KVM
- Database management (MySQL, Sybase, MSSQL) and basic SQL queries
- Autonomy, leadership and proactivity.
- Rigorous and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Configuration and fine-tuning of the solution to adapt it to scope of work and customer environment.
- Ability to analyze issues and provide detailed root cause analysis.
- Autonomous, rigorous, and flexible - demonstrate a capacity for analysis and synthesis.
- Solid experience in strong interaction with international customers, and have shown, in this context, an excellent level of communication and leadership.
- Your interpersonal contact enables you to be recognized by the different teams with whom you work with.
- Ability to work in an environment focused on innovation and team spirit.
- Passionate, curious, and eager to learn.
- Relevant experience: at least 5 years of experience as a system or telecom engineer in the telecommunication industry.
- Kubernetes Certification Admin and/or Security Specialist.
- Language requirement: English
- Master in Telecommunications, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
- Able to travel when required.
- Any other combination of experience/studies will be considered.
