Job Descriptions
Data Pipeline Development
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, PySpark notebooks, Spark SQL, and Python
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem
- Implement modern Data Lakehouse architecture using Delta Lake
Data Warehousing and Analytics
- Lead the design and implementation of Microsoft Fabric-centric data platforms and data warehouses
- Configure Synapse Analytics workspaces and implement OneLake storage strategies
- Optimize SQL queries on Azure Synapse Analytics
Data Quality and Governance
- Ensure data integrity, quality, and governance throughout Microsoft Fabric environments
- Establish data quality frameworks and implement data masking for sensitive information
- Configure Microsoft Purview policies and design audit logging mechanisms
- Performance Optimization
- Implement performance tuning strategies for large-scale data processing and analytics workloads
- Optimize Spark configurations and implement partitioning strategies
- Continuously monitor and fine-tune data pipelines and processing workflows
Required Skills
Technical Skills
- 3 years of experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud (Data Factory, Azure Functions, Databricks, etc.)
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other languages for data scripting and transformation
- Hands-on experience with Azure App Services, Azure Serverless, Microservices on Azure, and related services
Certifications
- Azure Fundamentals certification (mandatory)
- Azure Developer Associate certification (mandatory)
- Azure Administrator Associate certification (desired)
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in designing and implementing Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence solutions
Soft Skills
- Collaborative communicator able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Self-motivated learner with a problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work effectively in Agile development environments
