What are the responsibilities and job description for the One Source/SAP S4 Tax Lead position at capgemini?
The One Source Tax Lead will be focused on implementing tax functionality and support activities of the S4 2022/ One Source system. The Tax Team Member requires and in-depth knowledge of Global accounting business processes specifically in the areas of Indirect Tax Calculation and Indirect Tax Compliance Reporting.
Must be knowledgeable of the following Tax configuration and business scenarios
- Indirect Tax for Billing and Procurement: SAP S4 Tax procedures, Tax codes, Tax condition records, account determination, etc. for US and Mexico
- One Source Indirect Tax Calculation Engine and Global Network for Indirect Tax calculation for US
- One Source Tax Compliance Module
- Tax related fields for Master data: Material Master, Business Partner, Projects, WBS/Networks, etc.
- Preference given to resources with Tax integration for Ariba, MDG, and external billing systems.
- Preference given to resources with localization knowledge for (US and Mexico)
- Preference given to resources with knowledge of Transportation Industry
Additional Tasks/Responsibilities:
- Gather business and statutory requirements, ability to assess these requirements and formulate solutions utilizing SAP S4 and One Source standard functionality, or custom solutions where it is unfeasible to meet requirement utilizing standard functions.
- Provide functional direction/management to the project team?s offshore and junior resources.
- Manage work stream?s team deliverables to the project schedule
- Possesses the ability to organize activities, set priorities, handle multiple tasks, make or guide client to a decision/ resolution
- Interface with client?s functional process owners to define the business processes and requirements that will be enabled by SAP and OneSource, or may be required for Functional specification documents.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced team atmosphere and to work with client personnel at various levels effectively is critical. Supports and helps develop power users in the business
- Supports needed audit and compliance efforts
- Supports functional unit testing of SAP S4 2022, Ariba, One Source, and ARMS
- Identify critical issues, scope changes, opportunities and escalates to program management as appropriate.
- Works with cross-functional groups in the program to identify and develop solutions to business issues and opportunities in their area of expertise.
- Defines functional / technical requirements for change requests and interfaces with the development team for completion
- Supports the development of training materials and documentation, as well as provides Train the trainer- sessions as required
- Participates in the process integration and user acceptance testing (to include positive and negative security role testing). Must be able to write Integration test scripts

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $80.90/hour - $126.41/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
