Job Description
A Principal Technician with expertise in Tachyon 1E Platform, Microsoft SCCM, PowerShell scripting, and desktop packaging plays a vital role in managing and optimizing ITST BE US CITIZEN OR GREEN CARD HOLDER infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Tachyon 1E Platform Management:
- Oversee the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the Tachyon 1E platform.
- Develop and complete Tachyon 1E instructions and policies using PowerShell and other scripting languages.
- Develop, Test and Implement instructions using 1E editor.
- Perform root cause analysis and solve for issues related to the Tachyon 1E platform.
- Configure and support end-point monitoring.
- Microsoft SCCM Administration:
- Manage and maintain Microsoft SCCM for software distribution, patch management, and system updates.
- Create and deploy SCCM packages and applications, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
- Monitor and solve SCCM-related issues to ensure smooth operation
- PowerShell Scripting:
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation of routine tasks and system management.
- Use scripting to enhance the functionality of the Tachyon 1E platform and SCCM.
- Ensure scripts are well-documented and adhere to standard processes
- Desktop Packaging:
- Create and manage desktop application packages for deployment across the organization.
- Test and validate packages to ensure compatibility and performance.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to streamline the packaging and deployment process
- Technical Support and Solve:
- Provide advanced technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Perform diagnostics and resolve complex technical problems.
- Document solutions and share knowledge with the team
- Project Management:
- Lead and manage IT projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring progress.
- Coordinate with various teams to ensure project landmarks are met.
- Prepare detailed project documentation and reports
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field or equivelent experience and training.
- Experience: Several years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on Tachyon 1E, SCCM, and scripting.
- Proficiency in Tachyon 1E platform and its operational configurations.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft SCCM and its deployment tools.
- Advanced PowerShell scripting skills.
- Advanced Bash scripting for Microsoft SCCM
- Experience in desktop packaging and application deployment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- ServiceNow foundation.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory
- Certifications or Equivalent Experience in CompTIA A , Network , or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator
- Work Environment: Support remotely, with occasional travel to different sites or data centers.
