Job Description:

Currently looking to hire a Remote Monitoring Tool Specialist, who is responsible for managing and optimizing the tools used to remotely monitor and manage the performance, security, and availability of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure. This role ensures that the client's monitoring systems run smoothly, provide accurate insights, and allow for quick response to incidents or performance issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Detect, diagnose, and resolve issues in real-time to maintain uptime and performance.
  • Analysis of application performance and provide recommendations for system improvements.
  • Generate regular reports detailing system performance, incidents, and resolutions.
  • Document preparation on configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Liaise with client support team / 3rd parties to resolve technical issues or optimize tool functionality.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. with overall 10 years experience.
  • Experience using operator's remote monitoring tools or similar network monitoring solutions (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios).
  • Experience on server-side technologies like Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), PHP, or .NET.
  • Solid understanding of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) such as MySQL, PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
  • Strong understanding of network monitoring protocols (SNMP, NetFlow, etc.).
  • Experience in scripting or automation for monitoring tools (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party software integrations.
  • Proficiency in generating and interpreting reports and dashboards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills!

Good to have skill:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)!
