Job: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm

Job Overview: We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our HR department, with a strong focus on payroll processing and data management. This position requires an intermediate level in Excel to ensure accurate payroll calculations, reporting, and analysis. The ideal candidate will operate seamlessly between payroll operations and other HR tasks, contributing to the efficiency and accuracy of our department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll bi-weekly with a high level of accuracy, using intermediate Excel functions for data manipulation and calculations, along with our internal payroll system.
- Manage complex spreadsheets to verify quarterly bonuses and other payroll-related components.
- Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Conduct audits of payroll data to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with HR to manage employee onboarding, terminations, and adjustments that impact payroll, ensuring these changes are accurately reflected in spreadsheets.
- Stay current on payroll compliance regulations and integrate changes into payroll processes.
- Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes through automated solutions.
- Assist the HR Director with various HR-related tasks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing or a similar role, with strong emphasis on data management.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with payroll software.
- Strong understanding of labor laws and payroll compliance regulations.
- Understanding payroll taxes to assist employees with straightforward to moderate questions about their pay stubs and deductions.
