Accounting Associate Position and Company Highlights:
Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 base salary
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma in office #LI-onsite
Schedule 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 3:15 PM Friday

Purpose of Accounting Associate:
The Accounting Associate position is responsible for accounting duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager and CFO. Duties may include corporate credit card accounts, accounts payable, operational expenses, billing activities, importing data into accounting software, researching discrepancies, and preparing reports. The Accounting Associate performs self-review of work to identify problems and solutions. We are a small accounting team where commitment to the team is a necessity. Teamwork and accountability is a must. This position is responsible for maintaining and ensuring ethical GAAP practices. Business Tax knowledge and NetSuite software experience are a plus in this position.
Principal Accountabilities of the Accounting Associate:
Accounting Duties - Ownership or support of the following functions:
- Coding and Entering Accounts Payable
- Expense Reporting Corporate Credit Card Management
- Validating and reconciling expenses
- Verifying and posting of credit card statement
- Processing of reimbursable expenses
- New Vendor Set-up and vendor maintenance
- Year end processes- 1099s
- Assist with Year-end audit.
- Assist with other Account Receivable/Billing duties as needed.
- Audit custodian invoices and verify billing is correct.
- Bank reconciliations
Operational Duties - Ownership or support of the following functions:
- Reconcile Manual Accounts in Operating System
- Reconcile Capital Advisors CIAOX account.
- Research, Reconcile and Correct Recon issues as needed.
- Complete CRM Task Workflow
- Complete Billing/Account changes as requested
- Pre-Billing Quality Assessments
- Assist with other validations of billing.
- Portfolio Manager Audit
- Quarterly/Final Billing
- Validate, Audit, and Uploading of data.
- Assist in auditing and Uploading fees to custodian.
- FINAL billing. Generating bill, post bill to accounting system and posting to custodian account.
- Verify and reconcile Management Fees in Operational and Accounting System.
- Identify and correct Advisory fees
- Assist with other operational duties as needed.
Requirements for the Accounting Associate:
- Bachelors Degree (required)
- 3-5 years related work experience
Dimensions of Position of the Accounting Associate:
No direct reports and no budget responsibility; however, the job does require a high level of accountability and autonomy. The person in this position will need to possess or be able to develop the below skillsets.
