Position Overview :

Capital Brand Group is searching an ambitious and capable Project Coordinator will support the Program Manager (PM) in overseeing the execution of the JOC (Job Order Contract) Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, along with additional government-related contracts. The Project Coordinator will assist in managing project timelines, resources, costs, and ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations, government regulations, and quality standards. The Project Coordinator will collaborate with cross-functional teams, government stakeholders, subcontractors, and other relevant parties to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all performance and quality criteria.

  • This job description outlines the primary duties and responsibilities of the Project Coordinator supporting the JOCC IDIQ and other government-related contracts. The position may evolve, and additional tasks may be assigned as necessary.

Key Responsibilities :

Contract Management Support :

  • Assist in managing the JOC IDIQ contract and other government contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and government regulations (e.g., FAR, DFARS).
  • Monitor contract performance and assist with tracking deliverables, milestones, and compliance.
  • Support the PM in preparing and submitting proposals, deliverables, and progress reports to government clients.
  • Project Coordination and Execution :

  • Assist in managing day-to-day project operations, including coordinating schedules, resources, and budgets.
  • Ensure project tasks are executed according to established timelines and standards.
  • Work closely with internal teams (engineering, procurement, etc.) to ensure smooth execution of tasks.
  • Support the PM in tracking and mitigating risks and resolving any issues that arise during project execution.
  • Client and Stakeholder Interaction :

  • Serve as a point of contact between the client (government agencies), subcontractors, and the project team.
  • Assist in maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government clients, to ensure satisfaction and alignment with project goals.
  • Participate in meetings with clients to review project status, changes, and issues.
  • Budget and Financial Management :

  • Prepare project related invoicing and track budgetary data including accounts receivable and payable per project
  • Assist with budget tracking and cost control for projects under the JOC IDIQ and other contracts.
  • Compliance and Reporting :

  • Assist in preparing and submitting necessary documentation for contract performance, including progress reports, risk assessments, and deliverables.
  • Track and report on project performance metrics, ensuring all aspects of the contract are delivered on schedule and within scope.
  • Manage badging for all onsite personnel and ensure PII is handled adequately and properly.
  • Continuous Improvement :

  • Manage documentations, logs and continuously striving for betterment
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement among contractors and internal teams.
  • Develop a How-To guide of position at 6-month benchmark to standardize procedures.
  • Qualifications :

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., MS Project).
  • Excellent organizational, time-management skills and reading ability.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal teams, government clients, and subcontractors.
  • Experience with cost tracking, budgeting, and financial management on government contracts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of risk management, quality control, and project lifecycle management.
  • Preferable to have Bachelors in Architecture, Engineering, or related Project Management Field.
  • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in an office environment and occasionally on project sites.
  • Occasional travel may be required for site visits or client meetings.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs.
