Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students in a supportive and nurturing environment, particularly in private school settings. This role is essential in fostering a positive learning atmosphere for young children, including school age and preschoolers, while assisting lead teachers in implementing effective curriculum and educational activities.
Duties
- Assist lead teachers in planning and executing engaging lessons that cater to the developmental needs of students.
- Support students in their learning activities, providing guidance and encouragement.
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and growth.
- Facilitate small group activities and one-on-one support for students, including those with autism or special needs.
- Participate in curriculum development to enhance educational programs, ensuring alignment with early childhood education standards.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to foster collaboration and support student progress.
- Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness to provide a conducive learning space.
Qualifications
- Experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A background or training related to working with children is a plus.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that supports diverse learning needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.50 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
