Summary: We are seeking an experienced and innovative Director of IT to join our leadership team at CCBank. The Director of IT will be responsible for overseeing the bank's technology infrastructure, ensuring robust and secure systems, and driving strategic technology initiatives that support the organization's mission. This individual will also have expertise in API development and a strong understanding of artificial intelligence (AI), playing a key role in transforming the bank's IT strategy to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving financial landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic IT Leadership: Develop and execute the IT strategy that aligns with the Bank's business goals, regulatory requirements, and technology advancements. Identify opportunities for digital transformation and innovation that improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the management and optimization of the Bank's IT infrastructure, including servers, network systems, cloud services, cybersecurity protocols, and data storage solutions. Ensure systems are robust, scalable, and cost-effective.
- API Development and Integration:
Spearhead the design and development of APIs that facilitate seamless integration with third-party vendors, fintech partners, and internal systems. Provide technical leadership on API best practices, ensuring efficient, secure, and maintainable API solutions. Evaluate and implement API management platforms to streamline development, monitoring, and analytics.
- Artificial Intelligence and Innovation:
Drive the adoption of AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, and data analytics, to enhance customer experience and optimize business processes. Lead initiatives in AI-driven risk management, fraud detection, automation, and predictive analytics. Stay up to date with emerging AI trends and technologies, ensuring the bank remains competitive and innovative.
- Cybersecurity & Compliance: Lead initiatives to safeguard the Bank's data and IT assets, ensuring compliance with industry regulations (e.g., GLBA, PCI-DSS) and managing cybersecurity risks. Assist the Information Security Officer in the development and implementation of disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies.
- Project Management: Manage large-scale IT projects from inception to completion, including software implementations, system upgrades, and digital initiatives. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the Bank's requirements.
- Team Development & Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team. Establish clear performance goals and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers. Negotiate contracts, monitor service level agreements (SLAs), and ensure that third-party services meet performance standards.
- Budget & Resource Management: Develop and manage the IT department's annual budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to support business needs. Monitor and control costs while ensuring the quality and security of IT services.
- Data Management & Analytics: Promote data-driven decision-making by enhancing data collection, storage, analysis, and reporting capabilities. Support business intelligence and analytics initiatives to optimize operational performance and customer insights.
- Technology Innovation: Stay ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential for adoption within the institution. Advocate for the integration of cutting-edge technologies to improve service delivery and enhance competitive advantage.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CISSP) is highly preferred.
- Experience: At least five (5) years of progressive experience in IT management with at least three (3) years in a Director or senior leadership role.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong technical background in IT infrastructure, cloud computing, databases, and software development.
- In-depth knowledge of API development frameworks, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with AI tools, platforms, and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, AWS AI services).
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, manage cross-functional projects, and collaborate effectively with executives, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities and a track record of solving complex IT challenges. Excellent decision-making skills and the ability to prioritize and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
