Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Concrete Foreman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing formwork and flatwork projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to drive project success and uphold our high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of concrete projects.
- Manage and direct crews, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet project timelines and objectives.
- Interpret blueprints and plans to ensure accurate execution.
- Monitor project progress, adjusting resources and schedules as needed.
- Conduct daily safety and toolbox talks, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Identify and resolve project-related issues proactively.
- Maintain detailed project records and reports, including crew hours and material usage.
- Provide feedback to the operations team to enhance processes and project outcomes.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in concrete construction.
- Proven ability to manage and lead crews on both large and small construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
