Job Responsibilities:
The Executive Director will serve as an integral part of our leadership team, advising the Board and volunteer committees on policies and procedures while creating opportunities to promote a true sense of community. This role will play a crucial part in influencing and providing leadership and strategic direction for the community. Key responsibilities include:
* Responsible for the leadership, administration, financial, operational, and technical oversight of the community, staff, and service contractors with daily interaction with community residents and volunteers.
* Facilitates orientation and training of the Board and committee members, as well as long-range planning and annual goal setting.
* Serves as liaison between the association and other entities, including developers, builders, sub-associations, commercial parcels, club facilities, schools or public facilities, and municipal departments.
* Responsible for recruiting, hiring, supervising, training, and mentoring employees to develop skills necessary to advance within the community and CCMC.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have at least seven years' experience in on-site large-scale community association management. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, public administration, or a related field is required. Additionally, robust operational background and understanding of community financials are essential. Strong ability to build relationships through customer service, sophistication, and professionalism is also required. Certifications such as PCAM, CPM, MBA, or Master's degree are highly desirable. Effective leadership, organizational, and conflict resolution skills are essential. Knowledge of laws and guidelines governing community associations and governing documents is preferred. Proficient computer skills in Windows environment are necessary. A CAM license may be required upon hire in certain states.
