- Conduct advanced maintenance, calibration, and repairs on complex biomedical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions, utilizing advanced technical knowledge.
- Ensure all biomedical equipment meets industry standards and safety regulations.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all maintenance and repair actions.
- Provide mentorship, training, and support to junior technicians and clinical staff.
- Collaborate with manufacturers and vendors for technical support, equipment updates, and recalls.
- Participate in the evaluation, planning, and implementation of new biomedical equipment.
- Manage projects related to biomedical equipment installation and upgrades.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist with equipment procurement and lifecycle management.
- Participate in cross-functional teams for process improvement initiatives.
- Support compliance initiatives related to equipment tracking and maintenance records.
- Support inventory management and tracking of biomedical equipment.
- Assist in risk assessment and implementation of preventive maintenance programs.
Ability to travel (0-15%) within the state of Maine as needed.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field, or an Associate degree with equivalent experience.
- Four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Expert knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and computer systems.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and equipment management systems.
- Must provide documentation of eligibility to legally work in the United States without an employer sponsored visa.
- Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET), preferred.
- $36.06 - $40.87 per hour
- $75,000.00 - $85,000 annually
