WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The ERP Techno-Functional Analyst reports to the Manager of Technology Systems. This role requires a deep understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP financial and HCM system. A strong technical background, coupled with a solid grasp of financial processes and business requirements is necessary for this position. This role is also responsible for providing customer focused service and building positive and constructive relationships with stakeholders and customers, by understanding their needs, problems, and providing timely communication and service.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

- Configure and manage Oracle Fusion (Procurement, Financials, HCM, EPM, PPM) system. Manage role-based security, workflows, SOD conflicts and system upgrades.
- Configure and develop Oracle Fusion, custom processes, functionality, reports, queries, interfaces, and integrations in support of business needs.
- Collaborate with business users to document requirements, analyze processes, and identify opportunities for improvement. Translate requirements into technical specifications for Oracle Financials and Oracle HCM modules.
- Ensure data integrity within systems owned. Understand data relationships, resolve data and interface issues.
- Provide assistance with documents necessary to procure required systems, licenses, maintenance, and support. Ensure any renewals are completed before expiration and Capital Metro is compliant with vendor licensing requirements.
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours IT support.
- Provide technical support and leadership assistance on projects. Successfully assist in tasks or projects as assigned. Provide leadership assistance in working with technology vendors and implementation partners to implement technical solutions.
- Provide periodic reports to management.
- Develop and ensure updates to technical and/or user documentation. Train users on systems and processes. Lead in efforts to encourage system use and adoption with the business areas. Act as an advocate and advisor for the application of technology solutions to the agency.
- Provide support and assist in leadership in proactively setting up and managing systems in excellent working condition through implementation and monitoring of alerts, regular maintenance activities, performance tuning, software updates and patches. Provide leadership in working with internal IT teams and technology vendors to ensure all systems are available and secure on a 24/7 basis.
- Support and assist in leading efforts in system security by ensuring compliance to security standards and policies, monitoring access privileges, conducting risk assessments, investigation of suspicious activities, and remediation of identified security threats or risks.
- Document test cases and perform comprehensive testing during implementation and upgrades.
- Support and assist in leading the planning and undertaking of periodic risk analysis of systems and mitigate risks wherever possible. Lead in the planning and testing of disaster recovery. Support and assist in leading implementing, monitoring and verifying backups. Lead resolving issues.
- Follow change management and change control processes to plan and deploy system changes. Perform change-impact analysis. Communicate changes to stakeholders and IT.
- Support Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s Safety Management Systems (SMS) process by following safety and security policies, considering safety in every action and reporting safety and security concerns.
- Perform other duties as required and/or assigned in support of the Capital Metro Strategic Goals and the IT Vision, Mission, and Objectives aligned to these goals.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Additional related experience may substitute for a degree on a year for year basis up to four (4) years.
- Five (5) years of experience of experience with Oracle Fusion (Procurement, Financials, HCM, Role Based Security), Oracle report development.
- Technical and Functional Experience working on, configuring, and managing Financials modules Oracle HCM modules, EPM and PPM.
- Preferred: Previous experience in a public sector agency.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle Fusion Financials modules Oracle HCM modules, EPM and PPM with a strong emphasis on public sector financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Proven experience with Oracle Fusion ERP development tools and technologies (e.g., Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF), Oracle Business Process Management (BPM), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)) as applied to Financials and HCM modules.
- Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion ERP architecture and data models.
- In-depth knowledge of financial processes and accounting principles.
- Experience with direct end user support in a customer service role.
- Experience in troubleshooting, analyzing logs, and utilizing debugging tools for timely resolution of technical problems.
- Excellent organization abilities, analytical skills and communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Work is generally performed in an office environment in which there is only minimal exposure to unpleasant and/or hazardous working conditions. This position works with multiple project timelines and is responsible for managing employees performing work of a complex nature.
Incumbent must have the ability to stand and sit frequently throughout an eight-hour period, reach vertically for overhead use as well as horizontally. Must be able to use a telephone or headset equipment.
Incumbent must be able to lift and move material weighing up to 20 lbs., perform work at a computer terminal for 6-8 hours a day, and function in an environment with constant interruptions.

Mobility Status:
As a Mobile position, the incumbent is expected to work in the office as needed. There will be access to touchdown/collaboration spaces when on site. Must be in-office for socialization, strategic collaboration, supervision, oversight, and accountability as needed. CapMetro reserves the right to modify work status based on business needs. This position is based in Austin, Texas. Successful out-of-state candidates must relocate to the state of Texas prior to start date and may have the opportunity to work remotely anywhere in Texas after a specified period.
