What You'll Do :
Lead and manage a range of diverse technology projects and guide a team of developers skilled in distributed microservices and full stack systems to deliver solutions that meet regulatory requirements.
Stay at the forefront of technology trends by exploring new tools, engaging in tech communities, and mentoring fellow engineers. Occasionally, you will also be involved in coding or reviewing code.
Work closely with digital product managers to develop robust cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans to achieve financial independence.
Utilize programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Node.js, Go, and Scala, as well as Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, along with various AWS services.
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree.
At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience (internships do not count).
At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
Preferred Qualifications :
Master's Degree.
7 years of experience with at least one of the following : Python or Go.
2 years of experience with cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
4 years of experience with open source frameworks.
1 years of people management experience.
2 years of experience with Agile practices.

The full-time annual salaries for this role in Richmond, VA are listed as $175,800 - $200,700 and in McLean, VA as $193,400 - $220,700. Salary offers will depend on the candidate's location.
This role is eligible for performance-based incentives, including cash bonuses and long-term incentives.
