Key Account Manager - Capital Pump & Equipment
As a Key Account Manager for Capital Pump & Equipment, you will be responsible for building key customer relationships at a corporate/senior level for existing and new accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned national accounts
- Build strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders in client organizations, including procurement, operations, and engineering teams.
- Regularly engage with clients to identify future projects, opportunities outside existing CPE branches, and cross-selling opportunities
- Collaborate with regional sales managers and branch sales team to build relationships with and sell to assigned accounts at a national, regional, and local level
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with assigned accounts, ensuring profitability and competitive positioning in the market
- Track account performance against sales goals, and implement strategies to meet or exceed targets
- Track and log important customer information (key contacts, upcoming bid opportunities, events) in CRM
- Collaborate with CEO and CFO to develop annual sales budget and set KPI targets for target accounts.
Qualifications
- 5 years' experience in national or regional account management
- 2 years' experience in special equipment rental for industrial or construction applications; fluid handling industry experience is a plus
- Must live or relocate to Western U.S.; Must be able to travel [90%] of the time
- Proven consultative sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to create and present reports, contracts, and strategic plans.
- Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- High school diploma required; a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
