CRG is now seeking to hire a Activity director to add to our amazing team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:
As a Part time HUD activity director for our apartment community, you will be responsible for organizing resident events that help create a homey and welcoming environment at our community. You will be an integral part of our team focusing primarily on resident retention, ongoing resident services programs and fostering positive relationships with our residents as well as community leaders. An activity director links tenants within the project to supportive services or medical services provided by public agencies or private practitioners within the general community. The service coordinator may assess service needs, determine eligibility for public services, and work.
Activity Director Minimum qualifications:
- Creativity
- Ability to organize events and activities
- Must be energetic and enthusiastic
- Must be resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Ability to maintain composure when dealing with difficult situations
Qualification of a Activity Director:
- High School Diploma Required. Associates/Bachelor of Social Work or degree in Gerontology, Psychology or Counseling is preferable
- Demonstrated working knowledge of supportive services and other resources for senior citizens and non-elderly disabled in the area served by the project.
- Demonstrated ability to advocate, organize, problem-solve and provide results for the elderly and disabled served.
Part time position - 3 times a week, 3 hours each
