Position Overview:
The Director of Treasury Operations is responsible for overseeing the organization's treasury operations, including cash management, financial risk mitigation, and banking relationships. This role ensures the company maintains liquidity, optimizes financial resources, and manages financial risks effectively. The Director of Treasury works closely with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic financial initiatives.
Position Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily cash management operations to ensure adequate liquidity
- Responsible for approval and release of claims payment and ensure prompt pay timelines
- Ensure the accurate and timely release of contractual payments
- Optimize cash positioning to support business needs and growth
- Manage and oversee payment processing agents with the payment integrity team
- Identify and mitigate financial risks as it pertains to the organization
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, external regulations, and industry best practices
- Implement treasury controls and financial risk management policies
- Manage relationships with banks
- Maintain organization escheatment policies
- Assess and implement treasury technology solutions for efficiency (NACHA)
- Develop treasury strategies aligned with the company's financial goals
- Review and approve lockbox reconciliations and support payment integrity team
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop treasury team members including payment integrity team
- Responsible for the adherence to the Capital Rx Code of Conduct including reporting of noncompliance
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CFA preferred)
- 8 years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, or banking
- Strong knowledge of cash management, financial instruments, and risk management strategy
- Experience with treasury management systems and financial modeling
- PBM / health plan experience preferred
- Ability to balance multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Extremely flexible, highly organized, and able to shift priorities easily
- Attention to detail & commitment to delivering high quality work product
- Knowledge of and passion for improving the health care industry a plus
Base Salary: $125,000 - $145,000
