What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Analyst, FP&A position at Capital Rx?
Location: Remote (For Non-Local) or Hybrid (Local to NYC area)
Position Summary:
The Financial Analyst is a highly visible and critical position being added to the Finance function at Capital Rx and will partner with all departments across the organization. This role will play an important role in building out and maintaining Financial Planning processes, KPI creation and management, as well as providing valuable insight that will be used to assess the performance of the business. The individual must have a strong financial background and experience with financial forecasting best practices and planning tools.
Position Responsibilities:
- Construct and manage annual budgets, monthly forecasting and long-range planning activities
- Prepare timely and detailed financial reports following monthly, quarterly, and yearly closes
- Assist in preparation of board reporting and investor reporting materials
- Enhance analytical tools, KPI creation, and monthly dashboards
- Partner with department leaders to provide key insights and trends that help drive improvements across the organization
- Conduct ad hoc financial modeling to support business case development as needed
- Responsible for the adherence to the Capital Rx Code of Conduct including reporting of noncompliance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Undergraduate bachelors degree, with record of strong academic performance in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or other quantitative fields
- 2 years of related experience in finance, data analysis, or accounting
- Strong financial modeling and Excel skills
- Proficiency in FP&A tools
- Ability to challenge and improve existing processes through automation and redesign
- Motivated team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced, forward-moving environment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail & commitment to delivering high quality work
- Passion for healthcare and for driving lasting change in pharmacy benefits
Preferred Qualifications:
- Planful experience is a plus
Base Salary: $70,000 - $80,000
