Job Overview:
An Independently Owned and Operated Franchise
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team. As an Assistant General Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant. This is a leadership position that requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in all aspects of restaurant management, including staff supervision, training, and development
- Ensure the highest level of customer service is provided to guests
- Oversee food safety and sanitation practices to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Assist with inventory control and ordering to ensure optimal stock levels
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
- Conduct interviews and assist with hiring new team members
- Monitor and maintain financial records, including cash handling procedures
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Assist with scheduling and labor management to optimize productivity
Skills:
- Strong culinary knowledge and understanding of food safety protocols
- Proven experience in supervising and leading a team
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous experience in restaurant management or hospitality industry preferred
- Proficient in inventory control and cost management
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
