What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Project Accountant position at Capital Teams?
Capital Holding Group, Inc. is looking for a Construction Project Accountant to join our team. As a Construction Project Accountant, you will consult with project managers & estimators to ensure that bids and proposals are compliant with industry and accounting standards.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Review and administer contracts between Owner and Contractor.
• Review, track, and process requests for information and submittals.
• Set up and maintain project-related records, including contracts and change orders.
• Process all project-related billings to customers.
• Obtain waivers/releases from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Review and process project closeout documentation.
• Act as liaison among internal (Estimating, Project Manager, Field Personnel, and Accounting) and external (suppliers, subcontractors, customers, lenders) team members to assist in the successful completion of the project
• Occasional project site visits
Qualifications:
• Previous internship or experience in construction preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
