What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Project Accountant position at Capital?
Capital Holding Group, Inc. is seeking a Construction Project Accountant to join our team. As a Project Accountant, you will consult with project managers & estimators to ensure that bids and proposals comply with industry and accounting standards.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Review and administer contracts between Owner and Contractor.
- Review, track, and process requests for information and submittals.
- Set up and maintain project-related records, including contracts and change orders.
- Process all project-related billings to customers.
- Obtain waivers/releases from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Review and process project closeout documentation.
- Act as liaison among internal (Estimating, Project Manager, Field Personnel, and Accounting) and external (suppliers, subcontractors, customers, lenders) team members to assist in the successful completion of the project
- Occasional project site visits
Qualifications:
- Previous internship or experience in construction preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
