Purpose
The Tour Reception Supervisor oversees the Tour Reception team and maintains proper sales and marketing procedures throughout the departments.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Trains, encourages, motivates, and monitors the Sales and Marketing Administration staff
- Works with Sales and Marketing Management to keep the overall site budget within acceptable standards
- Maintains and communicates company policies and knows how to implement them
- Ensures that reports are generated and distributed as directed
- Maintains the integrity of Capital Vacations ownership
- Maintains a productive working environment with other departments
- All other duties as assigned
General Statement - Performs the job assigned, complying with Company policies and procedures, business code of ethics, FLSA regulations, and all applicable laws, as well as ensuring confidentiality, reliability, quality, and productivity.
Job Requirements
Education, Essential Training / Certifications, and Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 5-7 years of experience in Office environment
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Strong personnel and management skills as well as technical competency
- Ability to multi-task and have flexible hours
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and consistency
- Sales experience
- Time management skills
- Computer knowledge Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Effective verbal and written communication, problem-solving and customer service skills
- Diverse knowledge that includes Human Resources, contracts, accounting, planning and development, marketing and record retention
Shift: Additional hours may be required to meet deadlines or cover shifts
