Job Description:
As a Hard Money Loan Officer at CapitalConnect, you will be responsible for managing the entire loan process, from lead generation to loan closing. You will work closely with real estate investors to provide financing solutions for their property acquisitions, renovations, and refinances. This role requires strong communication skills, financial acumen, and a results-driven mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with real estate investors and brokers, providing exceptional service throughout the loan process.
- Lead Generation: Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential borrowers through networking, referrals, marketing efforts, and prospecting.
- Loan Origination: Guide borrowers through the application and approval process, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Loan Structuring: Analyze deals to determine the best loan structure for both the borrower and CapitalConnect, offering creative solutions for unique investment projects.
- Credit Risk Assessment: Review financial documents and property details to assess creditworthiness, borrower qualifications, and potential risks.
- Closing and Funding: Coordinate with underwriters, appraisers, title companies, and legal professionals to ensure timely and successful closings.
- Post-Closing Support: Offer ongoing support to clients post-closing, assisting with loan servicing questions and potential future financing needs.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2 years of experience in real estate lending, sales, or hard money lending.
- Skills: Strong sales and negotiation skills, with an ability to close deals efficiently.
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of real estate transactions, loan underwriting, and hard money lending principles.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CRM software and lending platforms is a plus.
- Motivated: A self-starter with a drive to meet and exceed sales targets and goals.
