What You’ll Do:
- Dispatch loads and direct day-to-day operations, serving as a backup to the Logistics Manager.
- Communicate daily with drivers and customers to ensure smooth operations.
- Solve problems and organize activities to achieve safe, cost-effective, and on-time performance.
- Influence employee morale and ensure high-quality customer service.
- Inspect trucks and trailers to meet safety and operational standards.
- 3 years of transportation work experience.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong computer skills (Google Suites, MS Office); experience with dispatch software is a plus.
- Availability to work on-site Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday (8 am–5 pm) and on-call every other week.
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility and empathy when managing driver and customer needs.
- Decisiveness and responsiveness to challenges.
