Job Description:
Role
Serves the Facilities & Security departments with review of internal facility security functions including maintaining customer security requirements. This role researches and analyzes security video as requested from various departments, while maintaining appropriate levels of controls.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Manage and process surveillance video requests. Review video in the priority time requested. Pull video requested from various sources and document requests while communicating effectively with requestors. Burn CDs when needed. Work with various departments and outside agencies.
Ensure functionality and reliability of alarms and cameras. Troubleshoot alarm/camera issues and contact the correct vendors for service calls if issue cannot be resolved internally. Work with branch staff to notify them of service calls, and work with vendor on troubleshooting issue. Assist in conducting and documenting building security audits.
Maintain accurate access and alarm monitoring. Review forms submitted to card access system and conducts investigations when needed; ensures employee status changes are accurately reflected.
Support organizational reporting and emergency preparedness efforts within the 4 Pillar System. Creates/updates excel spreadsheets for various reports; assists with organizational emergency preparedness plan by communicating with branch Safety Coordinators and Risk. Management team on various drills and policies, to ensure regulatory compliance, safe working conditions, and asset and cash protection.
Support essential function within the Facilities and Security teams. Including assisting with procurement, managing master codes, equipment tracking, benchmarking, contract renewals within the contract management system, and providing support for Mail Operations.
Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Must comply with current applicable laws, regulations and bank policies and procedures. Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
Experience
At least two years’ experience in security surveillance, security equipment, and emergency response preferred.
Education/Certifications/Licenses
A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school, with a focus on criminal justice is preferred.
Skills
Strong communication and organizational skills and knowledge of security standards are preferred. Effective verbal and written skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office products, and a high technical ability including experience with security software systems. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Courtesy and tact are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with customers and others inside and outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving and obtaining information or instructions, updating or referring.
