We are looking for a personable and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to act as the liaison between our customers and service technicians. The Service Advisor is responsible for assessing customer concerns, scheduling appointments, estimating repair costs, and ensuring a smooth and transparent service experience. This position offers a performance-based pay structure, with top earners making up to $70,000 per year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and listen to their vehicle concerns.
- Schedule service appointments and manage workflow.
- Consult with technicians to diagnose issues and provide accurate repair estimates.
- Explain service recommendations, warranties, and alternative repair options.
- Keep customers informed about service progress and estimated completion times.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and test drives as needed.
- Assist with parts ordering and ensure availability for scheduled repairs.
- Process payments and ensure accurate documentation.
- Maintain positive customer relationships and encourage repeat business.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Prior experience as a Service Advisor or in automotive customer service preferred.
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in service management software.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; automotive certifications are a plus.
