Senior Legal Project Manager, Pricing Department – REMOTE. For top tier AMLAW100 firm. This role is responsible for expanding creative pricing solutions and project management best practices to ensure profitability goals are met.
Duties: Support senior lawyers in matter management, increasing efficiency and client service. Connect with client legal operations to resolve matter-related issues. Develop legal project management tools, budget templates, and reference materials. Ensure internal stakeholders receive timely presented budgets/progress reports. Manage expectations with client and engagement team members. Work with attorneys and clients to define matter management strategies. Provide project management advice to lawyers to improve client service. Identify options for resolution and course correction if matters differ from initial expectations. Recommend process improvements as appropriate.
Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required. JD preferred. Formal project management certification is ideal. Must have at least 5 years professional experience with proven success in a law firm or professional services organization. Prior experience managing teams in a client-facing role. Experience with concisely summarizing complex quantitative concepts, both verbally and in writing to stakeholders. Prior experience writing SQL queries. Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and complete deadline driven work. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate successfully with senior management. Salary $148k - $217k depending on geographic location and experience.
