SUMMARY: Keeps working areas in production departments of manufacturing establishment in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties. Shifts available are 7am-7pm with alternating weekends.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.
· Performs monthly safety inspection of all eye wash stations, exit lights and fire extinguishers, modifying forms as necessary.
· Transports trash and waste from the various locations within facility to the disposal area.
· Performs/maintains Filter PM on drinking fountains.
· Ensures and conserves maximum quality standards.
· Changes light bulbs through out facility.
· Assists with snow removal by building entrances.
· Relocates company files from office to warehouse storage.
· Assists outside service during inspection of sprinkler alarm system.
· Assists in relocation of office furniture and plant equipment as needed.
· Performs custodian duties when required.
· Operates powered lift equipment.
· Records daily gas readings.
· Picks up refuse from the plant grounds.
· Performs snow shoveling and operates snow blowing equipment to clear snow, as needed.
· Performs daily collection of recyclables.
· Transports materials, such as waste oils and degreaser to storeroom.
· Performs minor mechanical repairs.
· Performs daily tow motor inspection.
· Performs weekly shop towel collection and distribution
· Fabricates basic designs with wood, metal lumber and other construction materials.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read a limited number of two‑ and three‑syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.50 per hour
