General Summary:
Caprock Home Health Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced and motivated HR Generalist to join our team. This role supports a wide range of human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will contribute to fostering a positive work environment and ensuring the seamless execution of HR processes.
Job Details:
· Type: Full-Time
· Pay Range: $45k - $50k based on experience
· Location: Lubbock, TX – Corporate Office

Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Staffing
Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, post job openings, screen resumes, and conduct initial interviews. Support the full cycle hiring process.
- Onboarding & Orientation
Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation sessions. Ensure employees receive necessary documentation, benefits information, and cultural onboarding.
- Employee Relations
Serve as a resource for employee inquiries and conflict resolution. Promote a positive workplace culture through engagement initiatives.
- Performance Management
Assist in performance appraisal processes and development programs. Guide managers on performance issues and improvement plans.
- Compliance & Policy Administration
Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies. Maintain accurate records and assist with policy development and implementation.
- Benefits Administration
Assist employees with benefits enrollment, answer benefits-related questions, and coordinate program updates.
Qualifications:
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Experience:
3-5 years of experience in Human Resources or a related discipline.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- High attention to detail and strong decision-making skills
- Proficient in HRIS, payroll systems, and applicant tracking software
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Conflict resolution, negotiation, and employee engagement skills
- Commitment to confidentiality, adaptability, and continuous learning
- Ability to work collaboratively and respect diverse backgrounds
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Capability to travel independently to multiple locations
- Able to navigate various building types and conditions
- Vision and hearing sufficient for reading, auditing, and communication
- Able to lift and move light office items and equipment
- Must always maintain a professional demeanor
