Position: Capstone is seeking a full-time Human Resources Assistant to join our Human Resources Department. This position will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the Human Resources Department. The ideal candidate for this role is efficient, detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is skilled in developing and maintaining workplace and participant relationships.
Qualifications: Candidates should have an associate’s degree in a relevant field of study, or a comparable combination of education, relevant work experience, and training that would provide the skills and knowledge to be successful performing the work of the Human Resources Assistant. Customer service experience and experience using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe will be especially useful in this role.
Additional qualifications include:
- Basic knowledge of HR principles and employment laws; understanding employment regulations and company policies.
- Strong collaborative skills and a team-oriented approach to work and communications.
- Ability to communicate effectively, professionally, and respectfully with diverse populations.
- Understanding of Capstone’s anti-poverty mission and positive regard for people accessing services.
- Excellent organizational, administrative, and recordkeeping skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to unplanned or unexpected circumstances or events.
- Ability to reliably and consistently be present at work as scheduled.
- Commitment to supporting processes and services toward promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Compensation & Benefits: This is a full-time position, offering a competitive hourly wage range of $22.00 - $23.00, and generous paid time off, insurance, and retirement plan benefits.
