Our client is hiring for Electrical Supervising Engineer II - Nuclear.
Must have Nuclear experience and PE License
Location : Mt. Laurel, NJ or Charlotte, NC
Job Description :
Lead a team of engineers and designers providing continuous, on-site support for a nuclear plant in the Detroit / Chicago / Toledo area.
Supervisory oversight and approval of Engineering Change Packages, including :
Equipment specifications, data sheets, calculations, and analysis to support design and configuration control.
Equipment specifications for transformers, switchgear, MCCs, UPS / DC systems, communication systems, and digital / process instrumentation and controls.
Electrical studies, including short circuit, voltage drop, coordination, and arc flash studies using OTI-ETAP software.
Electrical / I&C design documents, including single line diagrams, panel schedules, schematic and wiring diagrams, electrical physical / raceway drawings, lighting / grounding plans, and cable schedules.
Supervisory responsibilities :
Review proposals, schedules, and budgets.
Monitor and report on budget and schedule performance.
Provide technical leadership to engineers and designers for the Electrical / I&C discipline.
Support multiple projects and coordinate activities with clients, contractors, vendors, and other project team members.

What we're looking for :
BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited 4-year university.
8 years of experience in design of electrical and I&C systems for power plants or heavy industrial facilities.
5 years of experience in electrical and I&C system design for nuclear plants in North America.
Familiarity with the nuclear standard design process and experience preparing engineering drawings, including wiring diagrams and schematics.
Knowledge of IEEE, EPRI, ISA, and IAEA Codes and Standards and NRC Reg Guides related to nuclear plant licensing and design.
Good written and oral communication skills and the ability to interface with other team members, clients, contractors, and vendors.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Expertise using Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Teams.
Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain unescorted access to a U.S. Nuclear Power Plant, including meeting Fitness for Duty requirements.
Preferred Requirements :
Professional Engineering (PE) License in any U.S. state with the ability to obtain licensure in other states by comity.
