The Human Resources Manager will oversee personnel-related functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and policy development. This individual will ensure compliance with labor laws, handle employee grievances, and foster a positive workplace culture. This position requires a self-motivated and driven individual to contribute to Capstone Homes’ goals and future success. This position reports directly to the division president and collaborates with all departments.

Responsibilities
· Manage the employee life cycle from hiring to termination.
· Consulting with the Division President in creating, documenting, and implementing human resources policies, programs, and processes and updating job descriptions
· Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
· Leads the investigation of employee relations issues and research employee grievances, suggesting appropriate resolutions to senior leadership.
· Provide support to employees regarding HR-related inquiries and coach managers and supervisors on the appropriate response to employee questions
· Responds to initial unemployment claims and employment verifications.
· Proactively analyzes and makes recommendations for continuous improvement in the department.
· Lead the implementation of employee development plans and training programs.
· Ensure the organization complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
· Manage the performance management program and guide managers through the performance review process, providing tools and resources to deliver constructive feedback and set development goals.
· Maintain HRIS systems and processes.
· Assists with the payroll process, including staff training on proper time and activity reporting, resolution of any payroll discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with government regulations.
· Plans logistics for employee meetings, events, and training, including preparation of PowerPoint presentations and data, room reservations, and technology set-up.
· Process workers’ compensation claims when required.
· Office management and executive administrative duties as assigned by supervisor.
· All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Required Credentials and Experience
· High school Diploma or equivalent.
· Minimum of 3 years experience in HR.
· Minimum of 2 years experience in an HR generalist role.
· Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Education and Experience
· College degree.
· HR Certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
