The Opportunity
- Lead the daily operations of the warehouse crew with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Manage site finances by writing and balancing daily bank deposits.
- Create and transmit daily work logs to corporate, auditing labor and billing reports.
- Evaluate customer needs and ensure prompt satisfaction.
- Address customer service and associate issues promptly.
- Enforce policies and work rules among associates, prioritizing safety protocols.
- Conduct weekly safety meetings and encourage associate participation.
- Collaborate in managing site and departmental budgets.
- Schedule associate shifts according to customer requirements.
- Interview, hire, and train new associates.
- Supervise timely data entry for services performed.
- Complete daily closeout procedures, including cash balancing, data upload, and payroll administration.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Able to adapt to varied shift start times and days worked, including weekends and holidays.
- Minimum 3 years of management experience in an industrial setting.
- Ability to train, coach, and mentor warehouse associates.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Multitasking ability with proficiency in performing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Decision-making, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities in a dynamic warehouse environment.
- Budget management skills and ability to read P&L statements.
- Intermediate computer skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
