The Opportunity

• Provide administrative, inventory and clerical support to Capstone site management and corporate office
• Perform data entry of daily information into Capstone systems
• Prepare shipments to corporate office and receive and distribute return communications
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Receiving clerk is responsible for running the inbound receiving office by using organization, communication and data entry skills. This position does require you to multi-task. You speak directly to drivers, security, warehouse associates, managementand and partner leadership on site. Associate will need to have knowledge in Excel, Outlook and Windows. You must be Customer service oriented and responsible for managing incoming deliveries by verifying bill of ladings and signing for some shipments, preparing paperwork for receivers and freight handlers by printing orders in computer programs to provide unloading breakdown sheets from trucks, inspecting paperwork for quality and quantity, documenting received items, and storing them in the appropriate warehouse location, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders and maintaining detailed inventory records; they typically require strong attention to detail and basic computer skills to operate inventory management systems.

• Must have a high level of computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Ability to provide accurate entry of data and ability to handle administrative tasks as assigned
• Willingness to provide moderate housekeeping of office area
• Ability to work with a variety of people without regard to race, color, age, sex, national origin, religion, creed, or disability
• Strong organization and prioritizing skills
• High school diploma
• Previous office/clerical experience a plus
• Sit or stand for periods in office as well as warehouse environment (concrete flooring and changing temperatures)
• Walking throughout warehouse during shift
