What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receiving Clerk position at Stillwater Milling?
Receiving Clerk position in Davis Oklahoma for an agriculture company. This is a fast pass job during the peak seasons of the year. We are looking for someone that has a great personality, willingness to learn, and grow into their position. The candidate will be working in a team environment with others. Must be able to pay attention to detail, retain information, and have good customer service skills. Good language, reading, and math skills are essential for this position.
- Check incoming merchandise from carrier.
- Match merchandise to invoice for accuracy and finalize shipment.
- Label and sensor products for the showroom floor.
- Requesting sku's for any new products.
- Generating purchase orders.
- Communicating with vendor about variance in shipments.
- Contacting customers on special orders.
- Warranty returns for damaged or faulty merchandise.
- Help customers and run the point of sale system.
- Daily cleaning duties.
- Lifting boxes up to 50#'s and breaking them down daily.
- Stocking merchandise.
- Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Reading is an important aspect in loading the right products. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
