What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Haul Truck Operator position at Capstone Mining?
About Us:
Pinto Valley is an open-pit mine located at the west end of the historic Globe-Miami mining district of central Arizona, one of the oldest and most productive districts in the US, approximately 80 miles east of Phoenix via Highway 60.
We work a seven on seven off work schedule including 7 nights in a row once a month. Overtime is available with Superintendent/Manager approval.
Position Responsibilities:
Safe and skilled operation of haul trucks, water trucks and articulated trucks. Primarily haul trucks – CAT 789D and 793 models. May also be required to train on: rubber-tired dozer, transport lowboy, or other non-production equipment.
Position Requirements:
- Previous experience operating haul trucks – CAT 789D and 793 models (or similar sized trucks)
- Safe and efficient spotting and dumping of haul trucks
- Experience with parking procedures
- Experience of refueling procedures
- Pipe and pump handling
- Peer operator training
