Job Description
This full-time role is designed for a COMMERCIAL JOURNEYMAN PLUMBER who will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fittings, valves, drainage systems, fixtures, and other equipment in commercial-based applications. The successful candidate will work closely with trade professionals, general contractors, and project managers to ensure seamless construction processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial plumbing systems
- Collaboration with trade professionals and project managers to ensure efficient construction processes
- Liaison with internal/external project managers during course of construction
Requirements
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A valid state license as a Journeyman Plumber
- 2 years of experience as a Journeyman Plumber
- Knowledge of all plumbing codes, regulations, and safety requirements
- Proficiency in using tools, underground installs, rough installs, overhead installs, fixture installs, drainage, water supply, gas, piping, copper install, PVC, threading, brazing, etc.
- Ability to read and implement blueprints, specifications, and codes in a commercial environment
- Leadership skills, including training apprentices on-site
- Basic technology skills, including computer usage and email
