We have an immediate opening for a Systems Engineer who will support the Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO) Human Machine Integrated Formations (HMIF) Project Office (PO)
Position Description :
The HMIF PO will collaboratively develop two complex HMIF formations, one integrated formation for an Armor BCT and one formation for an Infantry BCT within 27 months. This Systems Engineer will collaborate with system users, requirements owners, and developmental contractors to translate operational requirements into systems, hardware, and software requirements to support the prototyping of the HMIF Armor and Infantry BCT formations.
Responsibilities :
- Demonstrated success in HMIF working-level systems engineering.
- Engages with and supports DOTmLPF-P stakeholders across the HMI enterprise.
- Conducts Analysis of Alternatives to support decision-making.
- Documents, tracks, and maintains configuration management using Digital Environments (DE) and associated engineering tools.
- Develops and decomposes requirements, beginning with Mission Engineering and progressing through system-of-systems and system-level performance specification development.
- Identifies, assesses, and mitigates risks, issues, and opportunities.
- Plans, coordinates, schedules, directs, and manages engineering and technical support activities related to systems development and capability integration.
- Provides integrated, multi-disciplinary recommendations to resolve technical challenges.
- Develops acquisition contract documentation, including Statements of Objectives and Statements of Work.
- Participates in the development and execution of test strategies.
- Leads and collaborates within multi-functional and multi-disciplinary teams.
