Capstone Search Advisors is currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Technician for a local Food Manufacturing client.
Position: Quality Assurance Technician
Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Hours: 2nd shift, 2:00pm - 11:00pm
Pay: up to $ 50,000 - $ 60,000
The Quality Assurance Technician shall enforce all quality and food safety systems to ensure company products are in accordance with the customers’ expectations, and SQF, GMP and HACCP standards of quality.
Will be responsible for completing line checks in a swift and detailed manner, promote continuous improvement within the department and the facility and be capable of problem solving independently.
- Execute the facility’s policy on GMP’s, quality, and food safety requirements with the ability to train, coach, mentor, and empower all team members.
- Ensures products are produced to the highest quality and hygiene standards are maintained on a daily basis.
- Assist with maintaining nutritional information
- Correctly and accurately performs and documents line checks.
- Complete monthly facility internal audits, document the corrective actions, and carry out those actions.
- Supports and drives the continuous improvement for Quality metrics and initiatives such as customer complaints and audit findings.
- Maintains compliance within the facility and handles all non-compliances and deviations in a detailed manner.
- Provide support to the production team for any quality questions, needs, and assessments.
- Preparing, completing, and interpreting environmental swabs results and developing corrective actions when necessary.
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
