Capstone Search Advisors is recruiting for a QC Laboratory Technician for a leading global manufacturing client.
Our client is hiring for a Laboratory Technician to support coatings manufacturing.
Location : Mentor, Ohio Area
Hours : 2 : 30PM to 10 : 30PM (Monday - Friday) no weekends.
Compensation : $ 25.00 - $ 30.00 - Full time, direct employment, PTO, 401k w / match, full benefits
In this role you will also collaborate with Technical Support, Manufacturing, R&D, and PT on coating technology, improvements, etc.
Responsibilities :
- Accurately prepare all standard coatings as necessary to specification by using the coating preparation sheets
- Calculate coating consumption using excel density program
- Monitor coating solution inventory for production
- Coating reconstitution, when necessary, determine the amount of solvent to be added to the coatings to reconstitute using excel density program
- Restore a coating solution to the proper formulation based on directions provided by Coating Lab Supervisor
- Follow coating lab housekeeping schedule and maintain the coating lab and storage areas in a clean and orderly fashion
- Maintain supply of clean bottles for coating; ensure residual coating in empty bottles is properly reclaimed.
- Proactively verify that all coating areas (batch, conveyor, auxiliary and PL) have enough coating for current and upcoming production orders
Salary : $25 - $30
