Job Description

Manage a diverse caseload of business litigation matters from inception to resolution.
Conduct legal research and analysis on complex issues related to business disputes.
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
Participate in all aspects of discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, conducting document reviews, and preparing witnesses for deposition.
Develop and implement effective litigation strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys.
Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties to negotiate settlements and resolve disputes.
Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on various business-related matters.
Stay updated on relevant legal developments, regulations, and case law impacting business litigation.
Assist senior attorneys in mentoring and training junior associates and legal staff.

Job Requirements

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Admission to the state bar of Ohio and in good standing.

3 to 4 years of experience practicing law, focusing on business litigation.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrated proficiency in legal research tools and technology.

Team player who can work collaboratively as part of a dynamic legal team.

Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work product.

Prior experience in drafting and arguing motions, conducting depositions, and trial experience is preferred but optional.
